The company history

From 2001 until today

2001

In November 2001, Harald Lampert founded the company. His idea is supported in the phase of product development and market introduction by the Central Association of German Industry under the "INSTI project"

2002

The first PUK 111fine welding machine is presented at 2002 at the international trade fair "Inhorgenta" in Munich.

Experts are impressed by the welding machine, as the new welding process can greatly simplify and speed up processes in jewelry production. Initial contacts are made with national and international specialist dealers.

2002

This is followed by the establishment of the company's own production structure and participation in trade fairs in Basel/Switzerland and Vicenza/Italy. Lampert Werktechnik was already supplying specialist dealers in twelve European countries in the year the company was founded.

Demand skyrockets, so production is expanded and further development of the product is pursued.

2003

2003 "Lampert Tools Inc" is founded in the USA and sales for North America is set up in Chicago, along with a warehouse and service workshop.

2003

Parallel to its involvement in the jewelry industry, the company enters the dental market. In 2003, the company introduces the phaser mx1 fine welding machine for work on dental prostheses. At the IDS 2003 trade fair, the fine welding device impresses as an alternative to laser welding technology.

2004

In 2004, the company presents the second generation PUK 2. The American jewelry industry honors the new PUK 2 with the AJM "Product of the Year 2004" award.

2004 - 2006

In the years 2004 to 2006 the company focuses on the expansion of the sales department; production, warehouse and office space are accommodated in the newly constructed company building.

2007

In 2007, the third generation of PUK 3 fine welding machines expands the circle of users - the recognition of this product with international awards such as the iF Product Design Award 2008 and the nomination for the German Design Award (PUK 3) show that functionality, quality and design "Made in Germany" achieve top marks.

2008 - 2010

With the DENTA PUK, a device for the dental market is developed in 2008 in the now in-house dental department. Under the brand name Lampert, the new PUK fine welding device achieves well-deserved fame in Germany in 2010. In the same year of development, the company introduces an industrial version of the PUK welding device: The PUK U3.

2010

Also in 2010, there is a product update of the PUK 3, the PUK 3s.

Among its innovations is the introduction of welding pulses superimposed with high-frequency oscillations, which significantly improve welding quality, especially for silver alloys.

2012

The year 2012 marks the 10th anniversary of PUK precision welding equipment as well as the 10th anniversary of Lampert.

Exactly 10 years after the launch of the PUK111 at Inhorgenta 2002 in Munich, Lampert is presenting the completely newly developed PUK04 fine welding unit at Inhorgenta 2012. The new fine welding unit is another milestone in the development of PUK welding. The PUK04 is characterized by many technical improvements, new functions and a modern, intuitive operating concept.

2013

The following year, PUK U4 was released, based on the technology of the PUK04.

2013

Also in 2013 at IDS Cologne, the PUK D2 is unveiled, completing the 4th generation of PUK fine welding machines.

The absolute innovation is the welding process monitoring system (patent pending).

2017

The PUK U5, successor to the versatile PUK U4 industrial welder, will be launched in 2017.

2017
